After the clothes were on and Deacon wasn't in the pumpkin he was feeling much better about taking pictures!

Happy Halloween

Here is our attempt at some Halloween pictures... Deacon will never be a baby model for Anne Geddes... Needless to say he did not think sitting in a pumpkin was a good idea :)

Bath Time

Deacon still loves his bath time. Dustin or I usually get in with him and he would play forever. He locks eyes with you and doesn't take them off. It's so cute.

Grandpa came down with Grandma this week, it had been three weeks since he had seen Deacon! They both enjoyed their visit.

2 month Checkup

Deacon had his 2 month checkup and everything is looking great! He decided to show off his lungs to the doctor. I didn't go with so Dustin had to handle things on his own. Deacon was 14 lbs and 23 1/4 inches. He got three shots, but was playing when he got home so he did great!

We love our walks!

Last weekend we had some nice weather and went for a walk. It's been so cold Deacon hasn't been outside in awhile. He's getting to be such a big boy that he's now facing out of his baby bjorn... he doesn't want to look at mom and dad anymore :(

Since I'm the one taking most of the pictures over the past 11 weeks there has been a lack of "mommy-Deacon" photos, so Dustin has been trying to grab the camera when we are together.

Deacon's eyes have turned bright blue over the past couple weeks, I'm thinking they are going to stay that way :)

We have started to read to Deacon, usually he'll listen for the first half then get bored. He seems much more interested in the camera.

Over the past couple weeks Deacon has been finding his hands... soon enough he'll be finding his thumb!

Toys

Deacon's favorite thing is his playmat! He loves to hit his ball and play with his frog. There is a mirror up top and he thinks he's pretty handsome and will smile at himself all day.

Deacon is usually full of smiles during the day! As long as he's been fed. He always has the biggest smiles for Dad when he gets home from work! (although, these ones were for mom)

Deacon was able to meet his wonderful cousins! Anna and William were in town for a week and they were able to spend a lot of time together. Here are some pictures of them... as good as you can get with a 5 year old, 2 year old and a 7 week old!
