Standing!

Deacon is starting to stand on his own. Not for too long, he still falls back when not paying attention. But I was still able to get a couple of him on his own! He's digging in his toy chest for all his toys :)

Dinner time

Deacon new schedule allows for us all to eat dinner together... Here's some pictures from the other night

Park

Now that it's getting nice out when I get home from work Deacon and I go for a walk to the park. It's almost a mile away so we get a nice stroller ride in too. Deacon seems to like the swing... kinda.

If you're happy and you know it...

Clap your hands! Deacon has figured out how to clap his hands. He claps for everything! During church last week he clapped for all the songs. He lays in his crib in the morning and claps. It has also turned into giving high fives. It's so cute. Here's his sequence of clapping pictures!

Outside!

Thank God spring came early! We have been enjoying our time outside taking walks, playing in the front yard and playing with the neighbor's dogs! Deacon has taken a liking to ALL the dogs around, especially Sammy! He'll scream until the dog comes over then grab his fur. Good thing the neighbors are due for their first little one early June, Deacon will have Sammy all broken in!

Figuring out this grass stuff- it didn't take long until the grass was in his mouth.

Past week

Here are some pictures of the three of us over the past week! Deacon has been a little love bug. He's starting to grab everything that's not his, and screams when he's not allowed to play with it. He thinks that he's the king of the house... which he is...

Deacon's sick days

Well we all made it through Deacon's first couple days of being sick. We've been so blessed that he's been healthy thus far, but early last week Deacon had a couple bad days. He had a temp of over 102 and didn't feel good. I got to stay home with him on Tuesday and we snuggled all day with books and a Disney movie :) Deacon loved getting his feet rubbed by Dad- he laid there for over a half hour while Dustin gave his feet some lovin'. Here are a couple pictures from those days.

Tough Guy

This is Deacon's new face of the week- He wrinkles up his nose and mouth and "snorts". He thinks he's pretty funny and tough! He lets you know who's boss and that he means business! He also knows that he's a funny man because every time he does it we can't help but laugh... so he does it ALL day long.

Smiles

These are some of Deacon's many smiles... These ones were all for Dad :)
