We spent this Christmas up in the cities with the Timmermans. Deacon had a wonderful time with Nan, Pop and the "donkey". The moment we walked in the door Deacon saw Jake, my parents dog, and thought he was a donkey! He followed him around all weekend giving kisses and hugs when Jake would allow. Jake was very patient with him, and Deacon did a great job being nice to an old puppy. We were also able to spend time with Auntie Anna and RJ, John, and David, Sonya and our cousin Johanna. Here are some pictures from our weekend!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve morning we were able to open our presents as a family before heading up to the cities. Deacon didn't care for opening them, but wanted to play once he saw what was in them. He got some balls and a new car (his two favorite things). He also got a "Band in a Box" set from the Davis'. He thinks the maracas are a microphone! Here are some pictures opening them.

BABY!
We are very excited to announce that we are expecting another little bundle of joy May 31st! So far things have been going great, a few sick days, but overall I'm feeling great. We've had three ultrasounds and met with the cardiologist and everything looks good.
We are tying to introduce Deacon to the baby. He's starting to remember that the baby is in my tummy and he'll come over and give the baby kisses... or raspberries :) We also read books to the baby. Hopefully there wont be too much jealousy!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...
Here is our night of decorating our new Christmas Tree. Last year we threw out our fake tree and had the excitement of getting a real tree this year. Deacon had a wonderful time with the lights, and is doing a great job not knocking down all the needles.

Dance!
All day long what we hear out of Deacon is "dance". He'll try and snap his fingers and dance. So we turn on the music channels and he dances ALL day! Dustin taught him how to do the air guitar... It's pretty cute :) Here are some pictures of our dancing man!
Pictures...
A couple weeks ago I was attempting to get some handsome pictures of Deacon, but he had other plans... to play with everything...

Happy Halloween
We had a great time this Halloween. Deacon was a turtle and loved being in his costume. We were able to see the neighbors and walk down to his daycare. His favorite part was waiting by the door and seeing all the other kids come to our house.
