Deacon is getting close to crawling! He needs to have some motivation... usually an electronic of some sort, in this case his CD player with some music. However he also loves cell phones and remotes! Sorry the music is so loud in the video... I was right next to the CD player :)

Our Big Boy!
Deacon has been getting in a lot of different activities this past week. We started swimming lessons at the YMCA and he LOVES the water! It's so fun to get in with him. He also spent the day at the Fool's Five in Lewiston the other weekend. I ran the 5 mile while Dustin and Deacon waited for me at the finish. Finally, Deacon's been learning how to throw a ball. There is a video at the bottom of Deacon and Dustin practicing together- so cute :)

8 Months!
Deacon turned 8 months this past week and he couldn't be happier. He's starting to explore new things by scooting around, not quite crawling, but getting close. He loves to be standing- digging in his toy box or on his play table. He is a very strong willed boy, he knows what he wants and will scream until we give in. He has 6 teeth and 2 more are on their way in. So, he's been starting to eat more table food. He loves Cheerios, toast and pears. He hates green beans, but he still gets them on his tray. Here are some pictures we took on his 8 month birthday!

Happy Easter
Here are some pictures from our Easter weekend! We had a great time at Grandpa and Grandma's, going to the Twins game and visiting Anna and RJ in their new house! It was a very busy weekend and Monday Deacon and Dad were in bed sick... too much fun!

TWINS GAME!
We were so lucky to bring Deacon to his first ballgame this weekend! Grandma and Grandpa Timmerman were nice enough to share their seats with the three of us. The park was wonderful and we had a sunny day to be there. Although, it was difficult being there with a 7 month old over nap time we made it through most of the game! We got to see Joe's first homerun on the new field. We hope to make it back for many more games this year!
