Cereal

Last week the doctor gave us the go ahead on starting cereal, so we decided to give it a go last night and tonight. Since he doesn't need it for nutrition yet we are just seeing how he likes it. I think the jury is still out. The first night we don't think much made it down, but tonight he did much better... although we still think more made it onto his face than in his tummy :)

Merry Christmas!

We had a lot of fun creating our Christmas card this year. Deacon is the most happy when he first wakes up, so these are taken at 6 am, when he was about 3 months old. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. We are looking forward to seeing all our families during the next two weeks!

4 Months!

We can't believe that Deacon is already 4 months! We don't know where the time has gone. He is noticing when we leave the room, and cries everyday when Dustin leaves for work! He loves to play on the floor with his toys and is trying to sit up all the time... and everything goes in his mouth :)

Snow Day!

We were able to have a wonderful snow day today! Dustin only had to work a couple hours so we got to spend the day together. Between Dustin and I taking shifts shoveling the driveway, we got to hang out with Deacon and all take an afternoon nap! It was great!

Deacon was a big help this year getting the Christmas tree put together with Dustin.

Tummy Time!

Deacon is starting to love his tummy time. He's gotten so much stronger in the past week and is able to hold his head up much longer and use his hands at the same time. He even surprised himself and rolled over onto his back the other day! Luckily, Dustin was home to see him do it!
