Happy Halloween

We had a great time this Halloween. Deacon was a turtle and loved being in his costume. We were able to see the neighbors and walk down to his daycare. His favorite part was waiting by the door and seeing all the other kids come to our house.

Trick-or-treat

Books!

Deacon's favorite things are his books. He will read for hours on end. He now knows what books he likes best and will bring them to you, then go get another one. He has to have a book while he's getting his diaper changed too. His favorite book currently is, "Good Night, Gorilla." Here are some pictures of him reading all by himself... making noises for all the animals.

Deacon has taken a new liking to coloring! He'll color for a couple minutes at a time before starting to put them in his mouth. He doesn't like the taste of crayons, but it still doesn't stop him from eating them :)

Pumpkin Patch!

A couple weeks before Halloween we went to a pumpkin patch in Byron. Deacon didn't quite know what to think about the pumpkins. Here are some pictures from our afternoon.
