2 Months!

I can't believe that Zachary is already 2 months! Time has gone by so quickly and he is no longer my tiny baby. Every day he is doing something new! He's starting to really carry on conversations and reacts to our voices. His favorite things are to eat, play on the floor with Deacon and watch the ceiling fan. Every day when Dustin gets home Zach has a big smile for him! We are still working on a good schedule, but he's doing great learning. He's a very relaxed kiddo and tolerant of all Deacon's screaming and running around. Today we had his two month appointment and he is 23.81 inches (77%) and 13 pounds and 13 ounces (89%). He's growing just perfect!

Zachary's Baptism

On Sunday the 24th we celebrated Zachary's baptism! He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville. He, like Deacon, wore the gown made from my wedding dress~ thanks Great-Grandma Timmerman! Zachary was perfect during the service. Anna and RJ are Zach's God-parents. Thank you to all our family who were with us to celebrate this wonderful day!

Tummy Time!

Dustin and Deacon are encouraging Zach to do some tummy time... Zach seems to think that tummy time means falling asleep... he's starting to do a little better at it! As you can see below it doesn't help when Deacon is holding him down!

Zach is Takin'

Well we know that Deacon is completely in love with Zachary... sometimes the hitting would convince me otherwise. But one of Deacon's favorite things is to hear and make Zach talk! Since Zachary is becoming much more vocal he loves to talk and thinks Deacon is the best thing since sliced bread.When Deacon is around he doesn't take his eyes off him and Deacon soaks up all the attention. In these pictures Deacon is yelling "Zach is talkin!"

Big Boy!

Well over the past two weeks we decided to potty train (well I decided I was done changing diapers). So we threw away a diaper and we put on "big boy" undies. The first day was a disaster... but we only had 2 accidents all last week! Deacon is doing such a great job! He needs reminders to go and I have to bribe him to sit~ the bribe is a sucker or a freeze. Although he's starting to go without the food encouragement! We are still working on it, but I didn't think it would ever go this smoothly! And of course we have Toy Story, Cars and Mickey Mouse undies :)

The other night we were playing with our blocks and Zachary was the monster that would knock over our buildings! Oh, No! Deacon thought it was SO funny so we kept building and Zach kept knocking them down...

Burger Burner!

Well our annual Burger Burner was a blast! We had a lot of family and friends who were able to join us and the weather was perfect! The rain held off for our campfire that night too!
