HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We got to have a great Saturday celebrating Dustin's 31st birthday! Deacon and Zachary picked out some rapalas, we hung out at home all day, then Dustin and Deacon went out to do a little fishing. Zachary is also getting the hang of standing without holding onto anything!

MAY!

Well May is finally here and we are busy, busy, busy and counting down the days until summer! Every night part of Deacon's nighttime routine is to play a game of Candyland. He has everything set up and ready to play as soon as Zachary goes down to bed!

 Our nighttime boy when we hear thunder... he's not allowed to sleep with us so Dustin grabs his mattress and he sleeps next to us on the floor.

 Our kite flying experience... Dustin and Deacon were having a blast, but as you will see Deacon eventually let go of the kite and it went flying into the wetlands... and Dustin had to go fetch it out... twice :)

End of April...

Finally the end of April. We have been busy working on the basement, working, getting ready for summer and of course starting to fish at every moment :)

 Zachary's "new thing"... crawling up on Deacon's bed, drinking his water and looking at the fish :)

 Fishing! ~ as you can see it was a cold day and we had to walk from the highway to a little fishing hole Dustin found. Luckily we were able to catch some suckers and bass.
