Picnic

Last week we decided to pick up dad from work and have a picnic for dinner! We had such a great time. After dinner we were able to play at the park! It was nice to get Deacon out of the house... well out of our yard :) We will be doing many more picnics this summer!

ABC...

Well since I have to feed Zachary so often I needed something for Deacon to do during that time. What I found was an ABC phonics yoga! It's for kids ages 3-5 so it's still a little difficult for Deacon, but he LOVES it! It goes through the whole alphabet gives the letter, the sound then a pose. Here are some of Deacon in action!

4th of July!

Happy 4th of July... and it was a very happy 4th in the Rich house! Deacon LOVED the activities yesterday! Stewartville does their annual city party which involved a train ride, animals and a fishing contest during the day, and the parade at night, followed by fireworks! We had a very fun filled day! Deacon even won 2nd place in the fishing contest for his 8 inch bullhead! YAY Deacon! And of course Zach was a trooper, he spent most of the day lounging around in the stroller. He is an overload of pictures from the day!

one month!

Zachary was one month a week ago! Time is flying by! He's getting so big and has rolls on his forearms :) He's a relaxed baby unless it's bed time, then he's our grouchy one. He responds to our voice and loves to see Deacon.

Smiles and bottles

Just this past week Zach is really starting to respond more and give us some smiles! Here are some smiles for dad this morning... I wasn't quick enough with the camera to get the good ones!

Deacon giving Zach a bottle last night! Zach's only had a couple bottles so we didn't know how it would go with Deacon trying, but both of them did great! Deacon was such a big helper and he loved every minute!
