It's a BOY

Deacon Michael arrived at 7:02 pm on Tuesday the 11th... right on his due date! He was 8 pounds, 14 ounces and 23 inches long. We had a 24 hour labor starting at home and getting checked into the hospital around 1:00 am. After some painful contractions we finally got the epidural around 4:30 am and both Dustin and I were able to get some sleep. We slept on and off throughout the day... until around 5:30 when the doctor said it was time to get things going. After trying some pushing we knew that forceps were going to be needed to help, so we went off into another delivery room and about 10 minutes later Deacon was here! He was perfect and healthy. Dustin was able to see that it was a BOY right away and let me know. He had a little bruising from the forceps, but they went away after about 24 hours.
